It's been five days since Thanksgiving and we're still full just thinking about our meal which had us going back for seconds...and, errr, thirds. It is by far the second best meal of the year, behind Christmas. The food was deeee-licious and not-so-surprisingly there weren't many leftovers! My mom did most of the cooking: the turkey, sweet potato and apple casserole, peas, cranberry, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pies. Boy that's a mouthful! Kristen was responsible for some of the desserts which consisted of mini baked apple pies and doughnut muffins. It was an overall delicious feast that we were glad to share with our loved ones. We can't wait to tell you all about our Christmas meal which is just around the corner!
